  • August 21 2023

The five Commissioners of the Montana Public Service Commission wish to thank Brad Tschida for his service to the Commission as the Interim Executive Director as he ends his provisional duties.

"We appreciate Brad’s willingness to assume the role as a transitional Executive Director, as we conduct a search for a long-term replacement for this important position," the Commission said in a statement. "He has capably fulfilled those duties and has lent his experiences and talents in a manner that has facilitated the improved climate and culture at the agency."

Mr. Tschida assumed the duties of executive director in January of 2023.

"Despite having gone through some difficult times in recent years, current PSC leadership has placed this agency on a track of exceptional governance, and the citizens of Montana can be assured that Commission leadership continues its pursuit of becoming a model of outstanding governance," said Mr. Tschida. "My time, albeit limited, has shown me that there are extremely competent and dedicated staff members, and commissioners, working for Montanans at the PSC. It was my honor to serve the PSC and Montana utility customers."

Mr. Tschida’s final day at the Commission is currently slated for September 14, 2023.
